Contacting Support: Reporting Bugs and Requesting Features in Coding AGI
Coding AGI is constantly evolving, and your feedback is crucial to its improvement. Learn how to easily report bugs or request new features directly from within the extension.
Accessing the Support Feature
- Open Visual Studio Code
- Click on the Coding AGI extension icon in the sidebar
- Look for the gear icon (⚙️) or "Settings" option
- In the settings menu, find and click on "Contact Support"
Reporting a Bug
- In the email subject, write "Report a Bug"
- Include the following details:
- A clear, concise title for the bug
- A detailed description of the issue
- Steps to reproduce the bug
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened
- Your system information (OS, VS Code version, Coding AGI version)
- Attach any relevant screenshots or log files
Requesting a Feature
- In the email subject, select "Request a Feature"
- Provide the following information:
- A clear, concise title for the feature request
- A detailed description of the proposed feature
- Explain why this feature would be beneficial
- Describe any potential use cases
Best Practices for Effective Communication
- Be as specific and detailed as possible
- For bugs, always include steps to reproduce
- For feature requests, explain the problem you're trying to solve
- Be respectful and constructive in your feedback
- Check if similar bugs or feature requests already exist

- Our support team will review your submission
